Garry Lenton on Al’s Morning Meeting

It’s not often that one of our own has his work highlighted on a prestigious website like Al’s Morning Meeting.

On Oct. 14, Garry Lenton presented a well-researched, thoughtful and well-written story about “Big Boys” … large-sized high school football players weighing more than 230 lbs. Garry established that these kids are bigger than ever. He asked, “Are they fitter or fatter”? He looked at supplements, and also the pressure put on these players to get big.

Here’s a look at what Al has to say about Garry’s story with some significant points highlighted.

This story was also highlighted on the IRE site for investigative journalism pieces. Good going, Garry!

How teens use MySpace
